What we collect
Account info (via Auth0), pet and health data you enter, community posts, billing details for Stripe, phone numbers (if you enable SMS reminders), and technical logs. New photos and documents are uploaded through the Mobile Application and stored in private object storage (DigitalOcean Spaces).
Pet sharing
When you invite someone to a pet, access follows the role you choose (family, sitter/walker, or vet viewer). Only owners manage invitations. Data export includes only what you are authorized to see for each pet.
Phone & email verification
SMS reminders require a verified phone number. Sharing pets, exporting data, posting in community, and changing your phone number require a verified email address.

Account deletion
Deleting your account cancels subscriptions, removes uploaded files, erases or anonymizes profile and pet data, and blocks sign-in. Limited backup retention may apply as described in the full policy.
Your rights (PIPEDA)
Access, correction, deletion, and export via Account settings or by emailing privacy@waggyapp.com. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or OIPC Alberta.
Open source and third-party materials
WaggyPet is built with open-source software, including Ionic, React, Astro, and Lucide (ISC license). A complete list of third-party licenses is available on request at legal@waggyapp.com.
The marketing site uses Lucide icons. Screenshots on this site and in the app are captures of the WaggyPet interface, not third-party stock photographs.
App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC. Those marks appear on official store badges. Apple and Google are not affiliated with WaggyPet.
